Boleyn Ground - movie set
http://lebuzz.eurosport.co.uk/viral/west-hams-ground-to-be-used-for-blockbuster-movie-like-die-hard-in-a-soccer-stadium-10785/

West Ham’s Upton Park won’t be used for football for much longer, with the Hammers moving out to the Olympic Stadium in 2016.

The plan is to demolish the famous old Boleyn Ground, and put up loads of houses.

But before the stadium is torn to pieces, it sounds like it’ll go out with a bang: a big-budget thriller called “Final Score” is apparently to be filmed in the 35,000-seat stadium.

Casting is under way for the film, scheduled to be released next year, but a director called Scott Mann has been brought in to direct a movie in which a gang of armed criminals take an entire stadium full of fans hostage and hold them to ransom, only for a former solider to save the day.

“Imagine Die Hard in a Soccer Stadium!” blethered producer Marc Goldberg.

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to film in this unique and legendary location. The premiership is the biggest football league in the world and their impending move from Upton Park to the Olympic Stadium has been reported globally.

“We have a stellar team looking to deliver a $20 million non-stop action, world class film with a one off unique opportunity to utilize an iconic stadium before it’s demolished.”

That's the Beckton Gasworks, son. Also used for a few music videos, Oasis did 'Y'know What I Mean' there. I used to smoke weed over there in the day.

You make it sound reasonably exciting.

The reality I fear would be a few saddos in their seats, hunched over laptops typing the same few comments OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN...

"a movie in which a gang of armed criminals take an entire stadium full of fans hostage and hold them to ransom, only for a former solider to save the day."

They might cast Johnson as the leader of the infamous 'Druidz' criminal organisation who is determined to keep everyone at the Boleyn, including the Daves, the players and the fans. "We're NOT moving to the Olympic Stadium!!"

Cue Dicksie in a cape, who lands his helicopter in the centre-circle to save the day. "Don't worry, I'll save you all. I'll make sure you all get to our new ICONIC UEFA CATEGORY 4 stadium!!!"

Can't see it beating Star Wars at the box office for some reason. Go to the New OS render thread to read the full script..

I reckon if Sold is spotted in the crowd, he will be offered a top part he will only have to take a few of his MATES to fill half the stadium

There has to be a tense stand off, with the bad guys demanding there terms from the top of one of the Lego turrets. That would be an eye-catching shot.
